Welcome to ProCooling!
Don't let the components exceed the spec of 45 deg C. Anything else will prematurely kill the PSU, unless the unit has specifications that say otherwise. |

I'm useing an Enermax 350W that I've watercooled, but I can't find any writen limits on it. I'm running between 30 and 35 C depending on fan voltage.

If that's the temp of the actual components, and the hottest components, then that's fine. I believe that Enermax has the same 45 deg C spec.

I hope it is. the sensor has its original placement near a coil of some sort so im guessing that the manufactorer knows there own components so I should be fine. Thanks for your help.

Yep. 45 deg C is a standard temp for most electronic (semiconductor) components. In this case, the coil is one to watch out for, after the MOSFETs. There's also a diode that you might find is epoxied to the same heatsink as the MOSFETs.

Actually the PSU components can run VERY hot. It doesn't matter. 60C. The switching MOSFETS or the diode packs can get real hot given you may dissipate 12W-25W for the package. Junction temps are allowed to be really hot. Just like your CPU.
As a trial I put minimal cooling for my PSU. At full load (Prime95 and 3dMark2000) the HS gets a little to hot to touch but is stable. This is a 360W Thermal take silent surepower PSU. There is no cooling for the inductor which gets hot but will live. OK, the image failed to attach....... deal with that later
