I've got some old gateway solo 5100 series cdroms that I want to use on a mini-itx board. Anyone have a good idea how to do this.
I don't mind soldering the GW connectors to an IDE cable if someone knows the pin layout or knows where to find an adaptor worth talking about.

I'm going to assume this is the same 44-pin layout used for laptop hard drives. If so, then 40 of the pins match up perfectly, and of the remaining four, one is ground, and 2 are 5v, and one is unused. I'd go into more detail, but my attempt to solder such a connection was unsuccesful. CompUSA however actually had an adapter in stock for less than $10, so I'd check there.
