he allready has the rad... I only had to make some shrouds for it... it's one of those oil-cooler thingies, you know them black ones.

do i see peltiers in that person's future? that's a nasty setup for pelts right there. quiet and sub-zero pin block monster.

it's going in this case on an Abit NF7-S and JIUHB DLT3C 1700+ 0310 (previously clocked on air at 2.5GHz)

There's a backup block there for a future FX and maybe some time we'll cook something up about a gpu block (when I decide to stop wasting most my money on upgrading the PC)

Something tells me the wimpy 2x120mm rad at merely 3/4" thick just won't cut it when compared to other rads or HCs....but will certainly be enough for me FTTB.
Pelts sound nice but I spend far too little time at home to be able to worry about them. Maybe if I quit my job.

here is the chipset block, with the retainer...

as you can see it's got a bit of maneuverability, as far as the locations of the holes on the board, you should have no problem using this on a number of designs, as is, and with minute mods to the little plexi arm, even more...

How's the flow rate in the chip block compare to the next biggest bottleneck? Think it'll be a problem? (that was one of the other reasons I wanted the Quattro: minimal resistance)

unfortunately, the sheere size(or rather lack thereof) in the chipset block, makes it the bottleneck. I did include you a couple of T's so you should be able to hook it up in parallel easily.
