Default Epox 8RDA3+ rev 2.0 - GOOOOD!

I was rather disappointed when I tried this mobo in rev 1.0, it wasn't any better than my ex RDA+ rev 1.x, but this rev 2.0 seems that epox made another good product!

Just installed it this morning (12 hrs ago), and the mobo in combination with my 1.7k+ JIUHB XP does 12 x 201 on 1.95V and 7-4-4-2.5 mem timings.

Looks like it will go higher with better PSU, if it does this freq with my crappy 300W Task PSU (just looked in MBM dashboard to see that 3.3 V is 2.7V, and -12 is -7.1V )...

Anybody has any similar experience with this board(s)?

2.5-4-4-7 ???

Perhaps Santa will leave 512mg. of Mushkin 3500 black Lvl. II in your stocking at Xmas.

What PSU are you considering replacing it with?

And that's still a pretty good O/C.

You definitely need better RAM and that PSU is woefully inadequate for what you are doing there. It will definitely hold you back.

yes, I know...

You're right guys, but I thought that this 512 Mb Kingmax superram will do better...

Now it's on 11 x 220 stabile on 2.5-3-3-7, and I gotta find an enermax or antec soon...Is the corsair really worth almost double the money?

I saw enermax in the shops here, but dunno about the antec...which one, vote pls?!

BE, think that I'll soon have some pics to post, gonna start working on the block soon

Many thx again!

Cheers

Of those two brands I'd say go with a Antec. Antec 550 true control if possible.

Might also consider a PC Power & Cooling, they are the best of all, but also the most expensive, and I don't know if they are sold in Europe.

But a 425+ watt unit from any of these makers will serve you much better than your 300 watt PSU, and if you can afford a 500+ watt PSU, even better.

And ya know I always like seeing your examples of block making, glad to help.
