I just got done soldering all the LED lights for this VU meter Stereo VU This was a nice little project for me until Christmas comes around and I can actually build my computer..until then I'm stuck doing little things on my case to make it look better.
Anyways..I have this caseAhanix Blu III. I wanted to mount the LED lights on either side of the LCD screen, but before I start, I want to be sure of how to mount them. Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks Josh |

You should have figured out the mounting BEFORE soldering the LED's up. With any luck you left enough room for the LED holders. http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bi...400&type=store

I havent soldered the LEDs up yet, just got all the wires for each channel wired up, and I knew about LED holders, I was just trying to avoid spending more money than I needed to.
Thanks though Josh |

For a 16 Year old kid trying to buy a car, build a computer, and have a social life, any money is hard to give up. But thanks though

I like it so far. I painted the frame of it and also cut a window into the side. I'm really liking the way it looks so far. I plan the mount the LED's for the VU meter on the front panel on either side of the LCD screen. Its definitely going to be a tight fit once I get it all together, if I do plan to do watercooling.
All in all, I like it. |
