What kind of super pump do you need for this block? Im running it on a hydor i30 pump and my temps are in the 36c range. This is unacceptable because my maze4 had temps in the 27c range. I have an rbx/bix/hydor 30i/5.35 res./1.5" setup. What gives?

Have you checked that the nozzle of the RBX is in the right orientation?

ya the orientation may be wrong.. they reviewed that block over at overclockers.com and it had a really high pressure drop.. when then opened it up the plate was installed wrong.

Okay, so basically you're wildly varying the ambient temperature that is possibly entering the radiator.
Any way that you could control the ambient to a fixed reference point before trying to figure out what's going on. Remember, any change in ambient means a change in CPU temperature too. |
