Interesting. Wonder how loud it is? The PD pumps in my lab deionization system are pretty noisy when running...

Nice catch, nik.
I'd bet this pump is noisier than hell. Nice specs though. Might be interesting to see what it can do at a lower voltage. |

Oops - seems I've gotten it mixed up.
It's the Shurflo BaitMaster pump that's rated for continuous duty. Costs twice as much (~$170US). |

It's the BaitMaster that is. I poked through the BaitMaster documents and it tells us that it's only continuous duty rated at pressures below 10PSI. Above 10PSI and it shouldn't be run for more than 20 minutes per hour. That kinda puts a real dampener on the whole thing. ![]() That, and many of the numbers don't seem to be adding up / agreeing with the on-line stores and the manufacturer's documents. |

I've used pumps like that in showers on the back of yachts and such.
They are loud! but very powerful. 8-ball

I looked at that one about a year ago (on my way to finding the Johnson CM30P7-1 I have now) but I rejected the continuous duty one because it is loud, vibrates like mad and is one big heavy sucker. No LAN portability in that one!
