i'd buy it, but i don't have any place to put it (and i'm sure the 600lb freight charge has to be quite frightening).

thanks man, I needed a good chuckle. yeah, just for the heck of it I plugged in the freight calculator, I could almost make a decent pc for what it would cost to get it to my place.

yea, but it only gos down to 0deg. I was hoping it would go lower.

3 tons of water at 0deg? toss a peltier on it, and i'm more than certain it would handle it. running a pelt with 0deg water would probably be pretty cool. hell, pelt all the workstations and servers in your office

that 3 tons reffers to the term used for the equavalent of 12000BTU's (1 ton.....) not the actual mass of the unit....

ie that is a 36000BTU unit....

Massive nun the less..

It uses a 3 HP compressor. Big, but not all that special. Not to mention too large to be practical.
