Default need 2200 fan replacement

Hi guys,

Been a long time since I posted here. Well I finally got a new 2200. I have not tested it yet or upgraded the drives but I wanted to know from someone who did it. What type of fan did you use to upgrade the 2200 stock fan and if possible where did you get it?

Thanks for any replies!

Default Re: need 2200 fan replacement

Me and David have both upgraded 2200's

Fan's, i can't find one the same size in the uk. Was 5mm too thick

So i'd have to mount it externally on the snap

Default Re: need 2200 fan replacement

My 2200 had a AFB0612LB (60x60x15mm), 3200rpm, 11.5 cfm, 24dba, 12vdc, .1 A. real Quite. The L stands for Low Speed. I replaced mine with a fan from Mouser.com . The M option is 13.45 cfm @ 29dba. I think I used a fan by Elina HDF0615MB, 14cfm @ 28 dba. I can hear this one, on purpose. I will have to see if I can find my invoice to be for sure.
