Where does one find a copy of assist? I bought a used snap, and have no software for it. I was able to find an OS upgrade, thought not a 4.0 version. Still, from what I have been able to gleen from these forums, I need assist to upgrade it. Where can it be found?

If you DID get OS ver 4.0.860, Assist would be part of that package

You do not need assist to upgrade, unless you are at v1. Updates are done from the web interface.
Assist is used to setup a snap that has been reset to factory. Reset to factory set the IP to 0.0.0.0

I've looked all over the web interface, but couldn't find it. Granted I am very new to the whole snap thing.
I wish I could find a 4.0.860 |

Look under "server settings", toward the bottom.

Nope.
server settings menu: server anme date time language support failure notification server restart factory settings save/restore configuration. Nothing under these menues has any thing to do with OS upgrade. it's OS 3.1.603, so that might have been introduced later. That's OK though, I've been 'assisted'. |

The only problems tha have come up, has been related to v1 & v2 OS. Discovered the updaters require a latency OS to run (win98). These were for the v1 2000.
