Please keep going Wing. In 2 months you've clearly mastered and then revolutionized the topic of cooling.

Just don't mix it too much with the aluminium, or you might find your case isn't as strong as you thought

Thought stealing is a major problem nowadays. May I make a suggestion, which incidentally utilises the magical powers of aluminium?

Wing, its not that you cant beat people at the same game... its that you'r playing all on your own out in left field.

People have told you many times now the folly of your ways, and you ignore. Thats a solid way to get the level of respect around here that you have.

joe,
im done with you. its over, moving on, end of discusion.

what did i say, i said no more spamming off topics, this wasnt ment to be an arguement, this is a good idea, and i wont to hear what you guys have in mind for AC cooling, not what you think of me.
if you guys really have a problem with that then dont post, its that simple.

Seriously Wing, take Brians advice. Do a lot of reading and keep you discoveries to yourself for a while.
As soon as you have a valid doubt, and you are sure nobody else has posted an answer to it here before, post your question.
The way you are doing you are only being flamed, and believe me the guys here really know how to do it.

Probably had no idea.... gosh I enjoyed reading this thread. I could swear that guy was like 13. That might be the first time that someone has been banned for being pig-headed.

Well I did post a link for Wing earlier.

However, in a way, I think he has a point here:

Quote:
well you guys might have thought of this before, but i just started getting into cooling systems around 2 mounth ago. so for me to think of this that fast may not be a new idea, but its still origonal for since i never new or had any idea about any cooling systems for my computer, besides fans until just recently.
i didnt even know you could by a liquid cooling system untill i got into building my computer, and was even thinking about building my own for a new idea.
but now i find out every1 has taken wat i think of.

Wing, I wouldn't say that anyone has "taken" any of your ideas. You are a bit late to the party that's all.

But I'd say it's great that you are coming up with these ideas. Don't be discouraged by the fact that almost every good idea has already been thought of, often centuries ago.

Regarding the AC unit as a case cooler, I was discussing this with a refrigeration engineer (seven years ago actually) and his concern with the idea was that the air coming directly out from the evaporator coils is cold (obviously) but also very dry. This is a good thing to a point. Problem is, dry air generates static electricity, not a good thing when so near so much electrostaticly sensitive electronics.
I never tested the concept. If you believe in the idea you should. Actions speak louder than words and if you can generate half decent data from what you come up with it'll be taken more seriously than spouting unverified claims aimed at people who have already studied the issues.

You've all been hounding the guy unmercifully, how's he supposed to ignore that?

they way I see it, is that people harrassing him was a PURE by product of his stupid ass post saying Aluminum magicly cools shit. He wouldnt listen, and couldnt understand why people werent following him on that crusade...

When you come into a forum like this, and start trying to re-write thermodynamics, and saying everyone else is wrong... thats some balls or some serious stupidity. Once he started new threads, spamming other threads, he just became a big turd on the site. While he was funny, its also something that ProCooling didnt really need (another bitter, angst ridden, kiddie reader who thought he knew more than any professional in the field).

yeh I banned him, but not because he insulted me... I could care less, but because he was starting to spread his crap to more threads in this forum.

Don't know, it seemed fairly well intentioned to me. Ignorant, but I thought there might have been enough honest enthusiasm to justify keeping him around... even if only for the entertainment value. Foolish posts provoking corrective explanation can benefit more than the original poster.

Still, your call.
