i want to bild wd for 939 cpu
i need to know the dementions of the block and how deep is the cutting

Question #1: What tools do you have free access to? That will largely determine where we go from as far as recomendations.

Typically your raw material for the base of a waterblock is 1/4" or less and your channel depth will be no higher than 3/16" or 4mm. The 939 socket area can fit a 2"x3" base, but around a 2"x2" base size is more typical.

I don't recommend going any larger than 2-1/4 inches in diameter. 2-1/2 might fit but you'll have to check clearance around the socket.
