I have a 520 that has four erased HD's, non of which have the Guardian OS on them any longer. Can someone provide me with direction as to how to get the device up and running?
Thanks Last edited by mtsx3000; 07-18-2007 at 12:40 PM. |

I don't own a 520, but the procedure should be the same as my 4500. You must have the boot loader on the HD. This will allow you to get to Diaster recover page, using terminal mode. Then you can install the gsu (guardian os). So to find out what is hapening you need to connect monitor and keyboard to the 520. You will probably see failsafe bios, timing out and searching for a bootable drive.
