Default Fuse for the Snap Server 2000

My Snap Server 2000 stop powering on and I believe it could be the fuse on the power supply. Does anybody know what the Amp size for the fuse need to be? The voltage seems to be 250. Only writing on the old fuse that I see is "T 2H 250V" Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I believe it's a 2 amp. Off the top of my head.

Thank you both for the reply. Did buy the 2 Amp, 250-Volt Fuses from
RadioShack and that did the trick. I'm back in business. Thanks!

The last time my 2000 blew a fuse, it was the RF shield shorting it out.

How could you tell that the fuse blew?

I have a 2000 that stopped powering up after I attempted to hardwire the fan so that it was on 24/7. I was getting temp warnings in my log, did some reading on this site and discovered that the CPU fan wasn't running all the time.

The unit worked fine before then immediately after I plugged it in and nothing. I checked all of the connections. I even checked the power coming in with a voltage light. Putting each terminal on either side of the fuse- it lit (would indicate to me that the fuse was OK but I can't get any sign of power after the fuse.

The fuse didn't turn color- it is still the same color that it was before I started.

How do you check the power supply?

Thanks,

Jeff

Your fan on the PS is probably what failed. The cpu is temp controlled.

use a DVM to check fuse.
