I've got a Snap Server 2200 with 2x 400gb Seagate drives in that i am selling. I've got too many toys at home so this one is going to go. I am going to be thinning my snap server collection out and in the end just be left with my 1100 that i use as a media server.
I dont have any of the specifics other than it's running the latest SnapOS which I installed. and it works 100%, I'll get serial #'s and all that when i get home from work as well as screen shots. I'm looking for $400 shipped in the lower 48 only via USPS Priority. Insurance is available for an extra $5 If paying via Paypal please add an extra %3 to cover fees. I will NOT ship internationally. Alaska & Hawaii shipping will be quoted on a case by case basis. Heatware Feedbacks Thanks Shane

He could remove the drives from the snap, individually package them and send them on... If its done properly (which i highly suspect with Hallis), it would be fine

Thanks for that Andy. That probably just destroyed any chance i have of selling it now. Note that this is a 2 for one deal. The 2200 and a 2000. And your 1tb units are rack mount systems anyway.

since i already have one of these, and have two "extra" drives and have seen an old 2200 with smaller drives in ebay this week for $120, this is a premium price. perfect for someone who just wants a plug and play, but for me it's a bit on the high side and especially since the drives can be bought at Frys for $80/e (I know, I that's where I just picked up the extra two).

Ok Deletions done. Now my 2 cents.
Snap 2200 are great small compact units. I have one and still use it daily. They can act as FTP servers and HTTP (web), but is limited to only html code and JVM. The FTP access is limited to SAMBA v2 limititions. But you have very limited ram on the 2200. The 2000 can be upgraded to greater ram capacity, which helps if you have a lot of users. The Guardian units are more robust and twice the cost and Noisy (rack mount units). Just keep in mind that Adaptec has stopped development on the SnapOS. So Vista support is very limited. There is a thread that address the SnapOS and Vista issues, work arounds.
