How do i perfom the Disaster Recovery Procedure
I issued ticket with them but it took so long for them to reply back to me. Can any one know how to recovery or restore or re-install a new clean GOS.gsu to a Snap Server 410? Thank you
Please give me the instruction. I got console cable , Ethernet cable, images Os |

Without a working drive to boot the 410, there is no way to install/repair/clean install the OS. The OS is in a Raid1 across all HD's. So normally this is never an issue, you always have bootable HD with the watchdog bios rotating through the drives till it finds one that boots. At least far enough to bring up the recovery console.
You will need to send it into Overland, unless you have another GOS unit that can prepare a HD. The GOS GSU is not a image file that can be installed. It is a compressed copy of the GOS, that is unpacked during the install/update.
