Help For a Newbie!!!

Hi, Currently have a problem with Snap Server 4200, to start I know nothing of Snap Servers, To tell the truth I new they existed a few days ago.

First Problem:

I'm working in a office where they have a snap server 4200, I need to access some data in the shared folders, I do see the folders but when I try to access the one I need it gives me ''Access denied" error. Is there any way I can take ownership of this folder I want to access or is there any way to reset the security for the whole server?

Second Problem:

The same server will be reconfigured in a new place, In some point ill need to access the snap server to configure new IP, etc. The problem is the I try to access it but I can't, I explain:

When I try to access it through GUI with a monitor it gives me an error saying that the current display is not supported, it says to use my web browser. Great so I go to my web browser and type the ip and I get an error: (Internal Error 500: "Sorry, this server has encountered a system configuration error. Please see your system administrator for further assistance.").

I need to rescue all the data, please help me!!!

And if someone has great info in OS install, troubleshooting, any info for this server (4200) Please let me know...

Normally http://ipaddress will get you to the admin gui. If you have the Admin PW you can change any users access rights and ownership. Now this can be controlled by MS AD2003.

Once you gain access you can modify any of the settings for your now location. Do by chance you know what Guardian OS Ver you are at. And see if the company has a service contract with Adapted now Overland storage.
