The language set is part of the OS, so try reinstalling the OS.

You can use assist. Depending on release it can be done through the OS.

I've posted the link many times to the latest version 4 from Overland. It's free. Your OS being at v2 you will need assist on a older OS (Win98) to do the upgrade.

It always sucks to have to post the same reply to the same questions several hundred times when it is obvious the person asking didn't bother to see if the question was already asked and answered. |

Your first question was expertly answered. Your second question by the Snap help system. Your third by a search. Let's see if my high school lessons can help.... Bitte seien Sie nicht mit den Leuten ungeduldig, die versuchen zu helfen. Sie sind mit Höflichkeit behandelt worden. |

jesus Pheonix, I wrote a great response and even posted it. Until I noticed the source.
I hate myself sometimes... ![]() That's when I take the time to post something only to have to delete it because of my stupidity. |

As I am sure you have noticed in the past, I have little use for and even less patience for those who will not take the time to help themselves a little and want it all served up on a silver platter for them. Those types rarely help others back and just as rarely appreciate the FREE help they get and the time/money/work others might have had to put into that effort to help them. |

Let me let you in on a little (dirty) secret.
David and I (and others, but I will only speak for he and I) used to reply and find answers (if we didn't already have them) to questions on here to the best of our ability. Mass amounts of time was spent looking for answers, posting answers (we both type like crap), and sorting things out as best we could. Have you noticed we have not done that, to the same extent we used to, for quite some time now? It was because of the prevailing attitude. Saying it sucked is being nice. First (David's favorites) you had the group who would blaze in, ask a question (75% of the time, one that had been asked and answered a hundred times before), then never see them again after you posted the answer. No passing on the help to others (like answering that question for the next one who asked it), no thank you, no nothing. In fact, 1/2 the time, they wouldn't even let you know how it worked out for them. Grab and run... Then my personal favorites. People who would ask a question, then would argue the answer you give them for the next 20 messages. I always wonder, if they know so much, then how come they asked the question? Some of these debates would get very heated and amounted to biting the hand that feeds you. It gets real old having to defend yourself on things you have proved over and over to people who don't have a clue and still expect you to answer them. Then there is the "you owe me" group. They come here and treat us all like we owe them somehow and act like they are paying us and we are their personal tech support. Then, this is the one that broke me in the end. The I want it handed to me for free, even though it costs you money and/or tech work time. You have no idea how many times I have people want me to do tech work for them and they want it for free or pay me 1/10th minimum wage to do it at best. These people have no clue how good a deal I offer and what this stuff costs. There is more, but you get the idea, and I bet since you been here a while, you have seen every one of them over and over. It just got old, and David and I (we talk on the phone) just decided to back way off and deal with it on a case by case and if we feel like it type deal. I know that sounds crappy, but after a while, those types above just wore us down. I can't speak for others, but I know I have seen quite a number of helpful people just fade away from here and I am pretty sure it is because of those people I just described. |

What can I add, Well said Andy.
Since I'm a moderator for the Snap thread, I have the responsibility to keep this forum clean. ( Read sticky). The reason I do edit post from time to time. In most cases, I let things go till personal attacks get out of hand. As you all can see I'm pretty lenient in this area.
