The logs shows drive 2 is reporting the problem.
Log indicates RAID5, 3 or 4 disk array. Install a replacement HD, same or larger size.

IMO, with the unit telling you the disk is unavailable/offline, that means the RAID is blown. If it was just degraded, it would still be available.

What are the LED's on the front panel indicating???
Did you leave the unit on to see if it would mount the share? Some times when they recieve an error they check the drives, and will not mount till after the check is compete.

we're thinking of buying a replacement hard drive, is there a certain one I kind I should buy? Or as long as its equal/bigger to the older ones I should be okay?

What are the LED telling you? It should report a bad drive.
As for repacement it's always best to match what is installed. If you must have the data I would try to match it. Snap uses the first drive to determine size. So it must be the same size. You can not install a larger drive in the drive 1 slot. Unless you replace all drives. Depending on the age of your unit it may be time to replace all the drives. A study shows that most HD fail in the 3-5 yr mark. But some will always run 10+yrs.

Well the unit is 7 years old and has 60 gig IBM Deskstars, haha. I don't think I'll be able to get a replacement. Any way I can get the data off the drives?
As for the lights, they are all green. |

I would label the drive as far as postion 1-4. Just incase you remove them, you must know the order.
Do a reset to the unit. Sometimes it will clear up the problem. Resets do not effect drive configuration. Your battery may be getting weak too. Most CR2032 only last around 5-7 yrs. Do you have another 4100 that you can swap the drives into. SnapOS uses a modified BSD file system, so you can not move them in to a PC.
