Default Save and Restores of configuration

I've got a working SNAP 1000 that needs to have the drive upgraded. The upgraded drive is already prepared with a working image that will boot the SNAP, a clean default image with no files or users (except the default admin user).

Is there any way for me to export the configuration on the working drive to use on the new drive? I see there are two exports possible, the Save/Restore configuration and the File/Folder Security backup.
The File/Folder security backup is apparently stored in 'OS_Private' directory but I don't see this directory on our SNAP.

We can set the SNAP up again from scratch if necessary however is there a shortcut to doing this using the above two backups?

Thanks in advance for any tips.
