I searched the forums and couldn't find an answer but it seems like an easy question.
Our Snap 4100 bit the dust (well a drive did...then another drive decided it hated me and did...something...) Eitherway I killed the unit, replaced the bad drive and went to format and make a RAID 5 setup. However...one of the drives is labeled as Private and I can't seem to figure out how to change that....so how do you change that? (1000E) is the one giving me issues and it should be 10010 Logical Device: 10006 Position: 0 JBOD Size (KB): 0 Free (KB): 0 Private Mounted Label:Private Contains system files only Unique Id: 0x006E2F79370CFF36 Mount: /priv Index: 12 Order: 0 Partition: 10006 Physical: 10007 FS Size (KB): 32768 Starting Blk: 515 Private Physical: 10007 Drive Slot: 0 IDE Size (KB): 80043008 Fixed Logical Device: 1000E Position: 0 JBOD Size (KB): 32768 Free (KB): 0 Private Mounted Label:Private Contains system files only Unique Id: 0x3475BA194B83AEF5 Mount: /ontains system files only Index: 13 Order: 255 Partition: 1000E Physical: 1000F FS Size (KB): 32768 Starting Blk: 515 Private Physical: 1000F Drive Slot: 1 IDE Size (KB): 39088640 Fixed Logical Device: 10000 Position: 1 JBOD Size (KB): 0 Free (KB): 0 Public Mounted Label ![]() Unique Id: 0x006E2F79370CFF36 Mount: /0 Index: 0 Order: 1 Partition: 10000 Physical: 10007 FS Size (KB): 38790264 Starting Blk: 62766 Public Physical: 10007 Drive Slot: 0 IDE Size (KB): 80043008 Fixed Logical Device: 10008 Position: 2 JBOD Size (KB): 0 Free (KB): 0 Public Mounted Label ![]() Unique Id: 0x3475BA194B83AEF5 Mount: /1 Index: 1 Order: 2 Partition: 10008 Physical: 1000F FS Size (KB): 38855480 Starting Blk: 29017 Public Physical: 1000F Drive Slot: 1 IDE Size (KB): 39088640 Fixed Logical Device: 10018 Position: 3 JBOD Size (KB): 0 Free (KB): 0 Public Mounted Label ![]() Unique Id: 0x55F6DADA6B2738B0 Mount: /3 Index: 3 Order: 3 Partition: 10018 Physical: 1001F FS Size (KB): 38790264 Starting Blk: 37169 Public Physical: 1001F Drive Slot: 3 IDE Size (KB): 39088640 Fixed EDIT: I just realized....that 1000E is the first drive....the Snap still doesn't see the 3rd drive does it....DOH!? |

It's been awhile since I have used any debug cmd on SnapOS. If you need the data you need to run spinrite on your old drives. I may beable to correct the drive that went bad. But if you need to break the array you need to use the cmds below.
If so break the raid array using "co de config individual 10000 10010 10008 10018" or "co de predict individual 100XX" Reboot where XX is the hd id. The link in my sig will take you to the FAQ's. It has a lot of info. Since this is a 4100, you need to confirm that you have a modified MB. A Sticky thread on the 4100's mb, revesion that impacts the reliablity/stability of the server.
