FTP questions for SNAP servers
I noticed that the at version 4.0 of Snap, they have FTP as option. Has anyone used this function? It would be ideal for the backup for my cell phone data to be able to set this up.
Can this be setup as Secure FTP instead of just FTP? Can you use different port instead of 21? Thanks |

Re: FTP questions for SNAP servers
FTP is very Phenicky. SecureFTP not supported. As for FTP port you can use your modem to do a redirect of the port and use anyone to your choosing. But this only works for connections outside your firewall. Internal access will still be port 21.

Re: FTP questions for SNAP servers
Thanks, so far it looks ok. I was able to configure using port forwarding for the external connection.
Yes, it does flake out but with cell phone connections, it is probably the better ones I have so far. |
