Yeah no need for those fancy hoses and waterblocks. Flood the room and when someone ask what your doing tell them *slipn' slide*

Fill the whole room. However I was thinking more along the lines of the liquid oxegen that deepsea divers use.

Ahhh hyper oxygenated fluid.
Not a bad idea, except that I think it would probably corrode stuff mighty fast ![]()

Parts would be obsolete and upgraded before that anyhow.
![]() seal the parts with schelack. and definately no smoking on the job. I hadn't thought of the oxidation part. I was thinking it would smell better than oil. and you could breath it.

I work in the central data center for the entire state. ( 3 floors at 10k Sq ft per floor.)
I dig servers, I dig network gear, but I also dig a nice quiet office ![]()

I'm in this noise 8 hrs a night, 5 days a week.
![]() Add the big IBM high speed printer to that as well. Although it's 1" foam sound insulation on it's outter panels sure makes a difference when you close the door... I still don't know why they put that big printer INSIDE the main computer room when it kicks out a lot of paper dust. And since they do no preventative maintenance, whenever something fails, it's usually due to a big buildup of dust.. Hmm... I wonder why... ![]() |
