how to connect cpu fan in snap 4100

Hi,

I have got a snap 4100 with an defect fan, exactly the defect fan was removed.

I bought a new fan and no I have no idea how to install the fan.

There are two free PIN Connectors on the Motherboard.

J11 is between CPU and RAM.
J12 is between RAM and Network Port.
J14 is for the 2 case fans.

I think, one is for the fan and the other one for the thermal resitor.

Does anybody know the electrical values of this resistor (NTC?).
I need a new one too :-((

Thanks for your advice.

Either Phoenix or Jontz should be able to answer that.

Not me this time. I have not seen the insides of a 4100, so I do not know. The 4000 uses the Molex connectors like Sam's.

Do you know how the cpu fan jack is labeled on the 4000?
The photo shows it by the ram slot near the cpu.

It could be the same for 4100

The CPU fan for all three of my 4000's comes off a molex connector/splitter with the hard drives, not from the circuit board...

On both of the 4100s I have open on the bench now, the CPU fan plugs into J11. J12 on both units is unoccupied.
